Nga mihi nui ki a koutou katoa.
On behalf of the Arbitrators’ and Mediators’ Institute of New Zealand, I am delighted to invite you to the AMINZ-ICCA International Arbitration Day add-on to the Sydney ICCA 2018 Congress.
Our Institute is proud to be a joint host of the Sydney ICCA 2018 Congress, and to have organised this event in the country’s scenically stunning south.
New Zealand is an arbitration-friendly jurisdiction. The first adopter of the UNCITRAL Model Law, it has effective legislation, boasts an independent judiciary and skilled arbitration practitioners, all working in what is consistently recognised as one of the world’s most corruption-free countries.
The AMINZ-ICCA International Arbitration Day will be held at the Heritage Hotel, with amazing views of the magnificent Remarkables Mountain Range.
Queenstown is the toast of travel writers everywhere—and with good reason. It’s the capital of New Zealand’s adventure tourism industry. Sporty activities. A galaxy of fabulous walks. A rich choice of a vineyards, golf courses and idyllic fishing spots. Queenstown has all this and more.
Guests will arrive on Thursday, April 19, 2018, flying from Sydney. The opening evening will include dinner at one of New Zealand’s top wineries.
Our international arbitration programme, which will complement the Sydney event, takes place the following day, concluding with a gala dinner—and the opportunity to spend further time exploring the land for those able to stay on.
Places are limited and so we ask that you register early to avoid disappointment.
Tena koutou katoa. We look forward to seeing you.
